Microsoft ACCESS: contains records of members, both current and past; used to generate mailing labels and to record address changes and problesm.
ACORN: (GUI Client) used for circulation
Card file: serves as backup records of other databases and is used as a double-check for Kesler circulation
People will inquire about Kesler membership by mail, in person, by e-mail (kesler@library.vanderbilt.edu) or by telephone. Procedures are slightly different for WEB patrons (folks who submit their requests via the Internet) because they do not receive copies of the Kesler Newsletter since they can access ACORN and the Recent Acquisitions Lists via the KCL web pages <http://divinity.lib.vanderbilt.edu/kcl/homelib.htm>.
