Patrons who are not law students have privileges in the Law Library. However, the building itself is locked on evenings and weekends. Access is only by an authorized VU ID. If a patron wants such access, they should contact the Law Library, 322-2568, and ask to be authorized. Authorization should take 48 hours.
If the patron cannot wait for the authorization process, then they may use one of the cards in the card holder by the key box in the circulation work area. These cards will allow them in the building (via the parking lot entrance). They should turn the card into the Law Library circulation desk. The Law Library will return the card to us.
