Turn the handicapped entrance on.

Turn the elevator on.

Turn on photocopiers.

Turn all the computers on.

Turn the two circ. workstations on.

When “divcirc” login comes up, hit the enter key or click OK.

Open Workflows.
ü
Enter “divcirc” for User ID and “divcirc” for PIN.
ü
Click on the checkout wizard and run the keyboard interface card
(located in tray above the phone to the left of the circ. desk) through the card
reader on both terminals.

Move all the stamps forward by one day (or more, if the library
has been closed for a longer period of time).

open safe and put money in drawer

Closing Checklist
Do
everything in reverse.
Except:
→
Count the money.
Remove proceeds for the day & place in envelope in safe.
Fill out money form.

Before turning out the lights downstairs, yell a few times to find
out if anyone is down there hiding.
→
Collect all books lying around and do a “use item” for each of
them. Reshelve
reference and periodicals.

(Summer only)
Check collection development to let them know the library is closing.
Make sure they have their elevator keys if they plan to stay later.
