Patrons who are trying to access ACORN and ATLA from home are much better of to do this via Vanderbilt computer account. (Software is available at the Computer Store on the Peabody Campus for $10.00 and there are no monthly charges - it is free, unless the person is using long distance, and than they have to pay the long distance charges).
If they do not want to get a Vanderbilt account, then the ISP that they are using such as AOL, etc. may require some tweaking to allow them to access ACORN and ATLA. There are insturctions for this "tweaking" - direct the patrons to go to the URL below. Please read this page very carefully yourself, because there is information throughout it that you will need to understand in order to help patrons.
